Polyacrylamides

Polyacrylamides are widely utilized as flocculating agents in water treatment, paper processing, and screen printing industries. They are known to be water absorbent in nature and forms gel-like substance when hydrated. These polymers are also used in laboratories for performing PAGE electrophoresis. They also play an important role in manufacturing of soft contact lenses. Polyacrylamides possess thickening & suspending properties and are known to be found in body lotions, anti-aging products, sunscreens, and moisturizers. They show superior stability under different conditions hence are used as stabilizing agents.
